	LODEMATIC TIPPED FOR RECOVERY


	Petlon Polymers Limited, one of Europes largest quality suppliers of recovered fibre based nylon products, selected product handling solutions specialists Lodematic (Handling Systems) Limited to supply a Container Tipper for a recently built plant. This modern 14,000m² facility is the most technologically advanced nylon fibre recovery plant in Europe.

The container tipping unit designed and built by Lodematic feeds nylon fibre waste into a 20 tonne baling press. Operating at a tip height of over 10 metres, the machine features automatic control with a stepped tipping facility.

All Lodematic handling systems are based on their “in house” standard designs which are then modified to suit Customer’s applications. A recent project employing a Tippler similar to that illustrated, incorporated an interlinked conveyor system to automatically present containers to the tipping unit for loading, off loading and transfer through a washing station. A pre-weighing facility and container lid opening device were also included.

Control options include valve lever, push button or fully automated PLC systems. PLC systems are also designed and manufactured for Customers who require complete production line control from one dedicated control command centre.

Machine finishes can be either mild steel or stainless steel. They can also be made to operate in most hazardous areas. Lodematic also manufacturers hydraulic cylinders and power packs and is therefore able to supply additional hydraulic systems, for fitment to Clients equipment, which can then all be powered from one main electro hydraulic power pack.

Lodematic Tipper units can be static, mobile or track mounted for forward or side-travel, and can be designed for indoor, outdoor, inter-floor and through-wall applications, as well as to inter-face with other processing plant if required.
